I am still alive and I will post soon

Ok, here's the deal. I have been reading all your comments pining away for more vitriol and, believe me, I will deliver. I have just been busy with other stuff and am traveling for a few days.

I will start posting again Monday. Come back then!

Also, if you want to read some of the other stuff I've been writing, check out my new series on personal entrepreneurship.

Let me be the first to welcome you back. Thank god! I thought you were gone forever. People grow up and move on and I wasn't ready yet.

not sure if anyone has posted this one but the impossible plastic that everything seems to packaged in these days. I bought a set of tools and they were packaged like this, and I cut myself 2 times trying to pry it open. I am not an idiot!!! I swear long after the nuclear fallout has destroyed earth the only things that will be around are cockroaches and that damn toolset still in its @#$@#% plastic.

I also hate that plastic with a specific vengeance, and I previously wrote about it here.

Ramit, glad to hear that wining and dining the VC's has not totally sapped your will to hate (is this any different from will to live? I think not). Let's get started with a preview of what I'm going to post as an addendum to your new entry:

Voicemail messages that trick you into thinking the person is there. Maybe this is cute to some people, but no one ever takes my calls anyway and this is just one more in a long line of disappointments.

"Being in on the ground floor". What a dumb saying. As though you could get in any other way (if you have access to scaffolding or routinely parachute onto the roof, I apologize). Also, what's so great about the ground floor? The ground floor of my building sucks. I work on the fourth floor with the beautiful people. Granted, I have to enter at the ground floor, but I sure as shit don't linger down there.

When your regular coffee costs $1.75. For one thing, this is a bit much; for another, it makes you feel cheap for leaving your change as a tip.

Music while waiting on the phone. It's invariably annoying and prevents you from focusing on other things while waiting 5 hours to get through to someone. Except for the cool Soviet music on Svetlozar Kazanjiev's phone system - props to Svetlozar.

More to come Monday!!!

oh, here's one:

The Phantom of the Opera. Film or musical, it sucks either way, and people who worship this piece of Lloyd Webber's vomit make me sick.
